Paul O'Connor (Weymouth and Bridport) - View Paul's Gallery

Paul has been tattooing for over 25 years, starting in Ringwood and then moving to Weymouth some 20 years ago. With a wealth of experience in all styles, he particularly enjoys Black 'n Grey work, Japanese style, Bold Traditional work and is probably one of the best "Cover-up" artists in the south!

He has worked at more conventions around the world than he can remember, including Houston, Berlin, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam and the Algarve winning many awards along the way. Paul also enjoys working at British conventions including the "legendary" Dunstable, Newcastle, Manchester, Wales, Portsmouth and Poole (which he used to organise).

John is a second generation Tattoo Artist and is Paul's son! He has spent his entire life in and around tattoo studios around the world. He did his first tattoo (a swallow on his Dads arm) at the age of 13. He began tattooing "properly" in Tattoo Magic a few years later, aged 17, whilst studying Fine Art at Weymouth College. Since then he has worked with John Walsh at his studio in Southampton and spent a year helping out at Double Eight Tattoo Studio in Bournemouth. He has also worked at Portsmouth Tatto Convention on several occasions.

John is a gifted Artist, with a natural ability to work freehand in all styles, specialising in Japanese, Portraits and "New Skool" styles. In his spare time, he enjoys designing exclusive artwork for our studio. John is hoping to spend more time at conventions and is keen to do "guest spots" in other studios both in the U.K. and abroad.

Fred Cornish (Weymouth) - View Fred's Gallery

Fred has been tattooing for over twenty years. He startied in the Banbury/Bicester area where he registered as a mobile tattooist, then opened his own studio in Banbury, which was the first registered studio in that area. After several years of studio work, Fred got itchy feet and decided that a change of scenery was needed and he hit the road as a mobile tattooist once again, only this time concentrating mainly on bike rallies and festivals. He gainied vast experience in all styles of tattoos from Traditional, Celtic, Japanese to custom.

Fred particularly enjoys doing tattoos from the dark side and with his evil flare, he is a specialist when it comes to skulls, demons, etc. Fred has been working with us since July 2004 and is available for both walk-ins and appointments.

Phil Gibbs (Bridport) - View Phil's Gallery

Phil is the newest member at Tattoo Magic. For 10 years or so he was a regular customer of Paul O' Connors' and after creating many custom designs for himself and locals alike, Paul saw enough talent in his design skills and offer him a job.

After a big change in career, Phil joined the team. With Paul and himself realising the demand for a shop in Bridport, they soon opened Tattoo Magic Too in November 2010.

He excels with his custom designs and work, and especially enjoys Traditional, Neo Traditional and Black and Grey. Tattooing is definitely Phil's main passion in life with Pizza and Spiced Rum coming a close second.
